About the certificate
Description
This certificate has been designed exclusively for senior GRC professionals looking to further develop their skills for career progression to the most senior level. Throughout this principles-based course, participants will tackle scenario-based challenges and be encouraged to creatively apply the skills learned to relevant and topical issues. Those who successfully complete this course will have the skills to excel in leadership positions.
Award
Students will be awarded the Certificate in Compliance & Risk Management, a nationally recognised qualification. Financial members of GRCI will also be entitled to apply for the Certified Compliance and Risk Professional (CCRP) Click here for more information about GRCI's accreditations.
Structure & Subjects
In the face to face option the modules are run over 4 days. For distance learning the modules are spread over months (max 24 months)
The course program consists of:

Pre-module tasks and activities

In-class activities (4 days) or self-paced distance learning options

take-home written assessment in 4 parts
The pre-module tasks will be distributed 2 weeks prior to the course. All face to face attendees will also be invited to a welcome dinner and briefing. Following the four days, students will be given take-home assessments which you will have up to 12 months to complete. Distance learners or part time learners have up to 24 months.
Student Support
You will be appointed an assessor who will assess your work and provide feedback. Some students may also request to join a student networking group where you can collaborate on assessments just as you do in face to face collaborative assessments. Course Credit for further studies
On successful completion of this certificate students can apply for further study at a Graduate Diploma or Master Degree, such as MBA, at universities or Higher Education Providers that accept units in compliance and/or risk management towards their course.

Course Exemptions (RPL)
Recognition for prior learning may be available to experienced professionals. You are required to submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating work that addresses each of the course competencies. You may also demonstrate your eligibility for credit transfer by providing statements of attainment awarded by other Registered Training Organisations.
