Australian Prudential Regulation Authority
This week the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) published an update to the Reporting Standard ARS 115.0 which should simplify reporting requirements for the authorised deposit-taking institutions(ADI) by making the reporting annual.

Australian Securities and Investments Commission

 The securities regulator is seeking guidance for Consultation Paper 351: superannuation the forecasts: Update relief and guidance.
They are reaching to all interested stakeholders on two critical proposals:
  • a single instrument of relief for superannuation calculators and retirement estimates, and
  • adopting a common framework for setting economic and financial assumptions.
 


The securities regulator is still seeking guidance on consolation paper 350 which will specifically be looking at remediation three areas{:

  • Australian financial services (AFS) licensees;
  • Australian credit licensees (credit licensees); and
  • retirement savings account (RSA) providers.
 

The securities regulator is still seeking guidance consultation paper 354: relief for simple arrangements following a hardship notice
