THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION- TECHNOLOGY, CYBER. A STRATEGIC, BUSINESS MODEL, GOVERNANCE ISSUE NOT COMPLIANCE, RISK OR IT ISSUES

The world, governments, educators, others including the World Economic Forum is calling the current rapid development and expansion in technology and cyber as the 4th Industrial revolution or Industry 4. This is because it is impacting the world, countries, governments, the economy, businesses/organizations, communities and individuals. Each Revolution has, from the end of the 18th Century (1765 onwards) through to now, brought massive change and both positive and negative impacts. Industry 4 has and is bringing the biggest change and impacts.

This workshop will:

  • Challenge the Norm
  • Get the focus and starting point right
  • Look at how the GRC professional can embrace this change and to change how industry and organisations see compliance, risk etc in general and the profession
  • Start a purposeful discussion and debate.
  • Explore how to embrace the new International Format for management systems standards and the compliance standard ISO 19600 and the new ISO 31000:2018 to help achieve the change of focus

In light of the recently released consultation paper from APRA on information security and the increasing expectations from all regulators across all jurisdictions, this is a timely workshop to build your capability for understanding and combating the risks posed to your organisation by technology and information stored using technology.
