Learn how to apply change management techniques to achieve greater stakeholder engagement and buy in from your stakeholders and employees.
Change management is the art of using tools and selective interventions to help guide people through a change to a position of acceptance.  It’s a critical skill for every professional.
None more so than the GRC professional, who is faced with constant change, driven from external regulatory or market forces, as well as internal requirements.  To succeed, the GRC professional needs to be able to get governance, risk and compliance related changes embedded in the organisation’s processes and people’s behaviour, and ensure it sticks!
Utilising change management skills and techniques can help the GRC professional do this.
In this one day masterclass, you will learn how to:

  • Identify the drivers and sources of change in your environment
  • Analyse and identify critical stakeholders and create an engagement approach to achieve stakeholder support
  • Assess your organisation’s capacity and capability to absorb the change and what you can do to optimise the likelihood of end user adoption and acceptance
  • Design a program of change activities that you can use to help embed GRC requirements
  • Gain insight into how you can best motivate and influence stakeholders to drive the behaviour change necessary to ensure effective GRC outcomes
This will be a practical, hands on course, where you will be given the opportunity to practice the techniques that are discussed in the session.   You will walk away with the key elements needed for your change management toolkit.

Date: 3 March 2016
Time: 9am - 5pm
